Wine, food & networking go down a treat at RBS Local Business Event
WineWeaver were pleased to receive an invite to a Spring RBS networking event for the local business community.
Being held at Royal Bank of Scotland’s Cavendish Square Branch in London, the networking event aimed to provide local businesses with a space to network with each other.
Patricia Robertson, Managing Director of WineWeaver said, “We found that this event provided us with a great opportunity to not only learn from other professionals in the local business community but also a platform to share our own experiences and grow useful business contacts.”
In addition to the chance of mixing with other like-minded professionals, John Maltby, the new CEO of RBS, provided the keynote speech, sharing some insight into the future of RBS and the Bank’s journey to become Williams & Glyn.
WineWeaver were proud to have been invited to such a fantastically well-supported event and to come away with establishing some good local connections. In particular, WineWeaver was pleased to discover local business and restaurant Mamounia Lounge at the event – who were showcasing the culinary skills of their talented chef by providing deliciously moreish canapés for the event.
As Emma Kenny, a Senior Relationship Manager in RBS Corporate Banking division said “It was fantastic to meet so many businesses and advisors from the local community, “
We hope that the newly formed Williams & Glyn continue this legacy of small business promotions and interaction and look forward to future events.
