Livermore Valley Wine Country- 33rd Annual Harvest Wine Celebration August 31
With the autumn sun glowing over the hills and thousands of vines all standing to attention in every direction, there is a sense of expectation in the air in Livermore Valley!
And so there should be as it’s harvest time in wine country!
As John Concannon, a fourth-generation vintner at Concannon Vineyard says “Most people love spending time in these dynamic landscapes, as there is the romance of the vines and an enjoyment of wine, food and nature, which no other experience can duplicate,”

Showcasing over forty wineries from the Livermore Valley Wine Country including Little Valley Winery, Longevity Wines, Nottingham Cellars and Retzlaff Estate Winery, the Wine Celebration takes place on Sunday, August 31, from 12 – 5 p.m.
“We get to welcome people from all over the world during the Harvest Wine Celebration,” says Chris Chandler, Executive Director of the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Association. “For some, it is a tradition to spend the day in Livermore Valley; for others, it is their introduction to the wineries.”
