Enjoy the opening event of the Barossa art and wine trail in the heart of the Barossa Valley, South Australia which kick starts today  – Friday 03 August 2012.

This wine trail event will see five of the best South Australian wineries join together to showcase selected artists (including  Trent Manning, Jo Jo Spook and the Jam Factory) as well as giving you the opportunity to a taste some of the very best food and wine that Barossa has to offer.Barossa Valley South Australia Wine Trail

Beginning at Seppeltsfield,  a progressive opening will be followed by an exciting journey through the Barossa Valley visiting some of the best Wineries in the area – first up is Whistler Wines followed by Peter Lehmann Wines (wines pictured above), Artisans of Barossa and ending the day at Turkey Flat Vineyards.

Kick Back and Relax with some Hatz, Jazz & Shiraz – Saturday 04 August 2012 – Barossa Valley

The Rotary Club of the Barossa District invites everyone to a rollicking, foot stomping and a rip roaring night of old fashioned jazz with “The City Jazz Men” with the event raising funds for the Australian Rotary Mental Health Research.

Dig out some fancy headgear as those that attend wearing the most outrageous hat will receive a prize!

The night will kick off at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Tickets are $60.00 per person which includes a glass of wine on arrival, finger food throughout the evening and unlimited tea and coffee – find out more from www.barossachateau.com
