A Halloween Horror Cocktail Recipe
It’s almost that time of year when ghosts and ghoulies walk the streets in search of tricks or treats!
This year if you’re hosting your own Halloween Party, why not try out this red wine based cocktail and treat your guests to a true Halloween Horror!
Blood-Eyed Halloween Punch Recipe
- 1 bottle red wine
- 1 cup sparkling apple juice
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Armagnac and Cointreau (as dash or good pour)
- orange and lemon juice to taste
- Lychees (tinned cold from the fridge will work fine)
- Blueberries (optional)
Halloween Punch Instructions
For the punch, mix all the ingredients together and place in a punchbowl or hollowed out pumpkin to serve.
Once the lychees have been strained and added to punch, they’ll represent the floating eyeballs and you can always add strips of orange zest to look like worms!
To make the ‘eyeballs’ look more ghoulish and realistic, you can always stuff the lychees with blueberries.
To serve, simply hollow out a large pumpkin and utilise as a large punchbowl for your Blood-eyed Halloween Punch.
